  • Check-In Time: 3:00 PM
    Guests are welcome to check in anytime after 3:00 PM. Early check-in may be available upon request and is subject to room availability.
  • Check-Out Time: 12:00 PM
    Guests must check out by 12:00 PM. Late check-out requests will be accommodated based on availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Reservations: A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. The full amount of the stay will be charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
  • Cancellation: All reservations are non-refundable. In case of cancellation or no-show, the total amount of the stay will be charged.
  • Modifications: Any changes to your reservation must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability. No refunds or credits will be issued for modifications.
  • Hotel Majestad accepts major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and cash payments in local currency (Costa Rican Colones) or US Dollars.
  • Non-Smoking Rooms and Common Areas: All guest rooms and indoor areas are strictly non-smoking. A designated smoking area is available outside the hotel premises.
  • Fines for Violations: Guests found smoking in non-smoking rooms or common areas will be subject to a $250 fine as mandated by the Ministry of Health. This fine will be charged directly to the guest’s account to cover cleaning and other related costs.
  • No Pets Allowed: For the comfort and safety of all guests, Hotel Majestad does not allow pets on the premises. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
  • Parking Availability: Hotel Majestad offers two private parking spots on the premises. Additionally, there are secure private parking lots located on either side of the hotel for your convenience. Guests are encouraged to use these facilities. Hotel Majestad is not responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents while parked.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property. Charges for repairs or replacements will be billed to the guest’s account.
  • Hotel Majestad reserves the right to charge guests for excessive cleaning costs due to the state of the room upon departure.
  • Items left behind by guests will be held for 30 days. Please contact the front desk if you believe you have left something behind. Shipping costs for returning lost items will be the guest’s responsibility.
  • Security: Hotel Majestad is committed to the safety and security of our guests. We have security personnel on duty to monitor the premises and ensure a safe environment.
  • Room Safes: Each guest room is equipped with a personal safe for storing valuables such as passports, jewelry, and other important items. Please use the safe to secure your belongings.
  • Personal Safety: While Barrio Amón is a generally safe and friendly neighborhood, we advise guests to take standard precautions, especially at night. Please avoid walking alone in poorly lit areas or isolated streets after dark.
  • Valuables: Keep your personal belongings secure. Avoid displaying expensive items or large amounts of cash in public.
  • Transportation: Use reputable taxi services or ride-sharing apps for transportation, especially during late hours. Our front desk staff can assist with booking reliable transportation for you.
  • Emergency Contacts: In case of an emergency, dial 911 for immediate assistance. The front desk is also available 24/7 to assist guests with any safety concerns or emergencies.
  • Local Advice: Our staff is knowledgeable about the area and can provide tips on safe routes, recommended places to visit, and areas to avoid. Please do not hesitate to ask for advice or guidance.
